Wow, service was warm and inviting. Food was really amazing, very vibrant and full of flavor. Chips and salsa (served warm) were good and refilled quickly as needed. Had the Chicken Chipotle Enchiladas and what a solid choice. Such a huge improvement from the previous restaurant that occupied this location. Will be back soon!

Nice neighborhood Tex mex spot for when you need a little fajita and queso fix. First time here we got mixed fajitas bothe chicken and beef and the chicken was very dry and lackluster. The beef on the other hand was juicy and perfectly cooked. Took a note and just ordered the beef fajitas next time and that will be our go to. The queso Blanca is delish. And the kids always love it as well. Margs were decent. I really liked the la viva margarita especially but it’s a little steeper at $16. Def will make this a stop for after tball with the kids. Live music on Saturdays. Tuesday taco specials. Wednesdays are discounted fajitas.

Very welcoming staff and great follow up. I passed up Pappasitos, El Tiempo, and 4 more restaurants to get back to La Viva. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

My sister and I had an amazing dining experience at La Viva Oak Forest location! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality. Our server, Luis, was absolutely friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He offered great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. La Vida Tex Mex has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite restaurants. If you go, ask for Luis. He’ll make sure your experience is great!

I found this place by looking on Google maps. I'm big on eating good food. Picked this place for my family and I to enjoy time together and they did NOT disappoint! The food and drinks were good! My brother ordered us some margaritas and I must say, I haven't had one that good and strong in a while! Our waiter was awesome and made sure we all were satisfied. All in all, everyone enjoyed themselves and left full! Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I recently visited for dinner. We had the la viva shrimp and the queso for appetizers. I got the Tio Chitos plate with 1 seafood enchilada and 1 Nick's classic enchilada. My husband had the Nick's classic enchiladas. I also had a watermelon margarita. Everything was delicious. Our server Alyssa was awesome. Very attentive, and our order was perfect. We have been here 3 times so far, and everything is always great.
